It’s that time of year again. 

Mercury retrograde.

I always encourage people to slow down during Mercury’s retrograde because of the miscommunication and technology issues. 

Mercury stationed retrograde in the sign of Virgo earlier today, August 5, 2024, at 12:56 AM Eastern. It stays retrograde until August 28, 2024.

Sometimes there are also travel delays, which can be a bummer during the Summer if you are in the Northern Hemisphere. These delays can also be an invitation to enjoy your Summer vacation time if you’re taking any.

Mercury retrogrades are also a great time to revisit current contracts and agreements. Given that the first part of this retrograde is in Virgo, an earth sign that is great with details, I suggest reviewing financial agreements and partnerships. 

The second half of the retrograde is in Leo, a fire sign that is all about public image and persona, so it is also a good time to review and revisit your branding.

Mercury retrogrades are also an excellent time to reconnect with previous leads or clients you haven’t checked in on for a while. Revisiting these past potential opportunities are a great way to utilize this Mercury retrograde energy.
