You Can’t Heal What You Can’t See
You Can’t Heal What You Can’t See
Lessons from Pluto and Election Season
As Pluto concludes its journey through Capricorn, which began in 2008, it’s especially impactful for the U.S., which is undergoing its Pluto return. Pluto takes 248 years to cycle through all signs, and this return reveals deep-rooted structures and societal issues. Pluto governs banks, government, big institutions. Pluto's entry into Capricorn in 2008 revealed the weaknesses of our financial structures and banking systems.
I see the current Pluto return in the United States revealing the deep wound of the U.S. having white supremacy and racism as significant tenants of its birth. What we have been experiencing these last few years is watching Pluto in Capricorn finish up its lessons.
Dance with Uncertainty
Dancing with Uncertainty
Trust Your Intuition
As election week approaches, some of you may have already cast your votes, while others may head to the polls soon. Clearly, there’s a palpable sense of uncertainty in the air. The upcoming New Moon in Scorpio, exact at 8:47 am ET on November 1, 2024, amplifies this energy, bringing with it heightened emotional intensity. This New Moon features both a Mars-Pluto opposition and a Mercury-Uranus opposition.
Embracing Resilience
Embracing Adaptability and Resilience
The combination of these retrogrades suggests we adopt a mindset of adaptability and resilience. In other words, expect the unexpected. Buy refundable tickets. Have a Plan B and a Plan C. Give yourself extra time for travel and completing work projects.
Navigating the Emotional Storm
A Guide to Surviving Election Season and Holiday Stress
As we approach the holiday season amidst a politically charged climate, it's easy to feel overwhelmed. For those of us who've grappled with depression or anxiety, this time of year can be particularly challenging. But fear not, my friends. With a little planning and self-care, we can weather this emotional storm.
Empty Out to Pour In
Mars in Cancer Retrograde Shadow Period
Mars in Cancer entered its shadow retrograde period on Saturday, October 5, 2024, inviting us to embark on a journey of emotional healing and self-discovery.
Mars will officially retrograde in December in Leo and then retrograde back into Cancer in early January where it will remain until April 2025. This six-month transit offers a unique opportunity to explore the depths of our anger, grief, and longing.
Navigating the Libra Solar Eclipse
Transitioning Out of the Libra - Aries Eclipse Series
This week’s Eclipse is a part of the Libra-Aries Eclipse series that began in October 2023 and will end in March 2025. So, events from the past few weeks may be connected to events around last October and this past March 2024.
A Cozy Autumn Awakening
Navigating Eclipse Season
We are still in Eclipse Season where the energy is unstable. The Lunar Eclipse in Pisces was last week on September 17, 2024, and next week we have the Solar Eclipse in Libra on October 2, 2024. Eclipse Season officially ends mid-October so that is a more conducive time for long-term and strategic planning.
A New Eclipse Cycle Begins
Eclipse Journey of Self-Discovery
We have a lot of Mercury energy during this September Virgo season. This Eclipse happens in Pisces, which is on the other side of the Pisces-Virgo axis, and Virgo is in its home sign of Mercury. This leads me to believe this combination is an invitation to step back and look at the bigger picture of our thinking.
Simplify with Batching
Harnessing Virgo's Energy
Under Virgo's influence, you're naturally drawn to organization and efficiency. This week let's put that to good use by creating a batching schedule that works for you. By grouping similar tasks together, you'll decrease overwhelm and feel more relaxed and accomplished.
15 Year Cycle Completes
Pluto in Capricorn Lessons
So, these next few months will complete what began for you in 2008. For example, I have had Pluto in Capricorn in my Seventh house which governs partnerships, both romantic and platonic.
Eclipse Eve
Track Your Finances
Since Virgo has a talent for details and Venus governs money, this is an excellent time of year to look at your relationship to your money and values, especially around your revenue and earnings from your business.
Reclaim Your Rest
Fully Surrender
It is safe to say this Fall will be profound, maybe even emotionally seismic. So, this week is a good time to set a foundation for incorporating breaks into our work. Let’s create the habit now of granting our nervous systems spaciousness and support.
Pause and Reflect
Review Your Resources
The next couple of weeks have some challenging astrology so, if possible, I suggest lightening up your schedule. But, even if you can’t do that, at the very least, set aside time in the next two weeks to reflect upon your resources.
The One Thing Principle
Create Connection
The main premise is that we need to focus on one thing to have maximum impact, in our lives and business.
Prepping for Mercury Retrograde
Mercury’s Shadow Retrograde Period
These last two weeks of July are a great time to do what I call Mercury retrograde “prep work.” Since Mercury rules communication and its retrograde can sometimes wreck havoc with technology, computer systems, and travel plans.
Focus Amidst The Whirlwind
Lists, a Fresh Perspective
What helps me climb out of the rabbit hole to stay focused, calm, and centered is creating lists.
Create Space for Your Genius
Playful Procrastination
This is a great week to reevaluate our relationship with our time and schedule.
Reflect and Revise
Saturn’s Invitation
This past week, you may have felt more internal, maybe even sluggish at times.
Harmonize Your Messages
Creativity and Communication in Sync
Mercury and Venus both entered the sign of Cancer this week on June 17, 2024.
